All work must be done individually. You may discuss general concepts with your classmates, but it is never acceptable for you to look at someone else's math. Please refer to the course policies if you have any questions about academic integrity. If you have trouble with the assignment, I am always available for assistance.

Grading

There are 14 problems from the book, each worth 5 points, yielding a total of 70 points. There are an additional 3 problems in the assignment, worth 10 points each, making up the remaining 30 points. 0.75% extra credit toward your final grade will be awarded for typesetting your solution in LaTeX. The final PDF, source LaTeX file, and all figures should be included for full extra credit.
