June 25, McArthur: Our initial plan was to spend the last evening in GOBAville with its
song contest and other activities. But GOBAville was set up at the high school with not even a hint of
any shade and it was still 90 degrees. Instead, we drove out to the beach at Lake Hope State Park and
sat in our lawn chairs. I took some reading and Nancy did some knitting.
