Course Catalog Description

Application of the computer science curriculum's topics through hands-on experience. Focuses on group problem-solving skills. Teams complete significant semester-length software projects.

Student Learning Outcomes

By the end of the course, students will be able to:

  1. Develop a usable software product using agile methodologies
  2. Perform major development activities such as requirements gathering, architecture design, implementation, and testing
  3. Use a version control system to manage a software repository
  4. Use a tracking system to track tasks and bugs
  5. Interact with clients
  6. Present a technical project to a broad audience including clients
  7. Work effectively as a team
