CSC 482 assignment 3

1. Read articles 20-24 from CKR (pages 107-157).
2. Appendix C contains lists of discussion questions for the articles. Answer, in writing, the following questions. Please use a word processor; I will not accept handwritten answers.
Write the answer
immediately after reading the article and before reading the next article! Answers to early questions are easily
influenced by information given in subsequent articles.
Article 20 questions 2 and 3 (“Web of Deception” page liv)
Article 21 question 1 (“Visiting a Software…” page lv)
Article 22 question 4 (“AI Researcher…” page lvi)
Articles 23/24 questions 2 and 4 (“Vision Quest…” page lvi)
3. Be prepared to turn in your written answers and participate in discussions on those articles.
For this assignment, the articles will be partitioned into 3 groups.
Group 1: article 20. Discussion leader is Michelle Wilson.
Group 2: articles 21-22. Discussion leader is Erik Greenwald.
Group 3: article 23. Discussion leaders are Josh Stuppy and Aaron Meadows.
In addition to
items 1-3 above, discussion leaders must do the following, for each article
assigned:
4. Write a one paragraph summary of the article. Length depends on complexity of the article.
5. Develop a written discussion outline that includes significant ethical issue(s).
6. Lead the class discussion of the article.
