I will be project coordinator. I will also maintain the project web page, http://www.cs.smsu.edu/~pete/csc397/project/. All reports and correspondence should be directed to PeteSanderson@mail.smsu.edu.

Upon formation, each committee must select one member as secretary.

On the day the committee is formed, the secretary is responsible for submitting the following information to the coordinator:

• Committee name
• Committee purpose
• Name of committee secretary
• Names of other committee members
• Date committee was formed.
• Deadline for completion of work.

Please include these headings and keep them in this order. The coordinator will post this information to the project web page, so HTML submission is requested.

When the committee has completed its work, the secretary is responsible for submitting the following information to the coordinator:

• Committee name
• Committee purpose
• Decisions Reached (list all of them together in numbered list)
• Justification for decisions (number each one to correspond to decisions)
• Any pertinent discussion of alternatives
• Name of committee secretary
• Date that committee completed its work

Please include these headings and keep them in this order. The coordinator will post this information to the project web page, so HTML submission is requested.

Each of you is individually responsible for tracking and recording all your project activities. On the last day of class you will turn in a résumé of those activities. This should include participation in committee or class activities as well as individual efforts. For each activity, include the date(s) and a description.

There will be no team- or class-wide grade on the project. You will be individually graded based on your contributions, as measured by your résumé and the quality of the products (e.g. web pages) that you produce and contribute to.

The project grade is based on the following weighted components:

* Depends on your assignments. If you develop web pages, quality is based mainly on adherence to agreed-upon standards and structures. If you work on the maintenance manual, quality is based on its understandability, usability, accuracy, completeness, etc. As instructor, I will be ultimately responsible for the accuracy of web page contents.
