License Agreement between Southwest Missouri State University and <agency name> for the <project name> software product.

The <project name> software product ("Software") was developed for <agency name> ("you") by the following SMSU undergraduate students: <student names>. This project was the focus of the one-credit-hour course Service Learning in Computer Science. SMSU ("we") retains ownership and copyright of the Software.

We developed this product in good faith. Every attempt was made to correctly design, implement and document the system according to your requirements. However, we do not guarantee that the Software is complete or correct. The Software is provided on an "AS IS" basis, without warranty of any kind, including without limitation the warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. The entire risk as to the quality and performance of the Software is borne by you. Should the Software prove defective, you and not the authors assume the entire cost of any service and repair. In addition, the security mechanisms implemented by the Software have inherent limitations, and you must determine that the Software sufficiently meets your requirements.

The Software is provided only for your use, and not for use by any other organization or person. You may:

• use the Software on one or more computers;
• use the Software on a network, provided that each person accessing the Software through the network must have a copy of Microsoft Access 97 license for that computer;
• copy the Software for archival purposes, provided any copy must contain all of the original Software's proprietary notices;
• request support and modifications, as explained in the next paragraph.

You may not:

• permit other individuals to use the Software except under the terms listed above;
• remove any proprietary notices or labels on the Software.

We hope you will find the Software to be useful. If you continue to use the Software as provided and run into problems or limitations, contact the SMSU Computer Science Department at 836-4157. We are not obligated to support the Software, but may choose to do so if it meets an academic goal or if a computer science student or faculty member volunteers. Requests for support are less likely to be granted if the Software has been modified prior to the request by someone not acting under the direction of the Computer Science Department.
