June 22, Marietta : Eastern tip of Buckley Island. It is a now a national wildlife refuge
but 100 years ago a large amusement park occupied this end of the island. It is officially in West
Virginia, as the state line runs along the Ohio edge of the shoreline not down the middle of the river!
