The theme of my teaching is to encourage preservice and inservice
teachers to engage in life long learning and to connect educational theory
and practice. The related theme, and one which undergirds
each of my courses, is "to teach the self how to teach the self how to
teach". My teaching evaluations indicate these themes are implemented as
I model student-centered, effective, enthusiastic teaching with reality based
current examples connecting theory and practice. A third theme regarding my
teaching is my honoring individual differences. |
